Hi. A co-worker spilled her entire water glass on herself and my passenger seat. I have the non-leather perforated heated seats. Is there anything I should do- I cleaned up the surface but not sure how much got inside the seat. I'm worried about damage inside or later issues with the material.

Since it's just water there shouldn't be anything to worry about, once it dried up that's all that's needed. Had it happen to a few cars of mine in the past with similar seats and haven't noticed anything bad happen after, even years down the road.

Moldy smell would be on top of my list of concerns.

Airing out the vehicle so the water dries is best. Used to detail cars and after shampooing seats and carpets this is what we'd do, no problem once dried.

Exactly. The key really is ventilation, once that can happen there shouldn't be a problem.

People make the mistake of locking their vehicles up tight after getting the interior shampooed.
in the warmer months I always leave a least one window slightly cracked, the air is less stale and baked I find, somewhat cooler maybe psychological
