If I decide to put in a 10 or 12 inch powered sub (separate from stock), do you think I will be getting a lot of rattle from the trunk (not plate) if I properly remove plate rattle. Does anyone know if the stock sub in the rear hatch can be replaced and powered by an aftermarket amplifier or recommend any powered sub enclosures. I have been looking at the
1) Alpine PWA-S10V 10" Bassline
2)Rockford Fosgate P300-12 Punch
3)Rockford Fosgate P300-10 Punch
AND
4)Alpine SBR-S8-4 (although I would have to use my own amp)

I always have used diamond audio subs and xtant amps in the past, but just don't want the hassle and cost of taking that route. Want something simple and easy... to add a bit more bass to the 10 speaker system in my NX.
All suggestions and help are greatly appreciated. Thank You

I am not an expert on this . I would think that through insulating the area around the woofer and installing a rubber seal between the panel and the door frame would take care of the rattle. I don't turn my sound system loud enough to here what the problem is. Car Toys or a good Best Buy might be able to help.

Have you considered getting it installed professionally?

I would also look into forums or YouTube videos that are specifically about car audio. They might have better information to help you out.
