I think Toyota may be thinking of adopting their own version of the spindle, well maybe not THE spindle, but its certainly a strange rip off of their own handy work, check it out the 2015 Aygo...

Considering this is the most recent Toyota vehicle perhaps we see this become a trend moving forward?

I think that this is a really cool design element but i don't think that it is going to be used outside of the Aygo. I think it will be the distinctive element of the Aygo, not the distinctive element of Toyota. It is a good observation how this has similarities to Lexus' spindle grille though. It's cool that there are connections like that between Lexus and Toyota.

I think that this car should be sold in more places than just Asia though. The mini car segment is really popular, and I think that the Aygo is different enough from the pack that it would catch a good following if it were offered in NA or Europe.

Im not sure what can be changed about it, im not good when it comes to design but all I know is that it doesn't look good.
