Once the Tesla Model X comes out, it will be right at the top of the list. The other automakers will have to respond.

The lists only include cars that run on fuel and not electricity so you can't really compare them with electric cars. Maybe there's a list of the most electric efficient SUVs somewhere. On that note, how far can the Model X travel on one charge?

Expect two battery choices: a 60-kWh unit with a 230-mile range and an 85-kWh model boasting a 300-mile range.

300 mile range sounds completely sufficient to me.

It's probably not the best for road trips but 300 miles is sufficient for your daily commute.
Lexus NX300h may be at the top of the list but the Honda HR-V LX is a bit better on the highway.

Being Canadian I have to convert to kilometers. 300 miles = over 600 km. That is a really long way. It would get you through many road trips and there are charging stations around to help along the way.

There actually aren't that many Tesla charging stations around depending on where you live. I think there's only around 6 supercharging stations in all of Ontario.

But when you consider where most of the population is in Ontario, it makes sense.
