Once you have them, you won't go back....It seems like such a funny feature. Is it that hard to just turn the wipers on yourself? Luxury has turned into laziness in some cases IMO. I wouldn't complain about them but it wouldn't be a must have in any car that I buy.
Are they accurate at sensing what speed they need to be wiping at? I can imagine that you have to manually control the speed despite them turning on automatically.
On my 2004 Mercedes, it worked quite well. Maybe when it is raining heavy, then i override it...but if i remember correctly, it was a good thing to have.Looking forward to seeing reports on what it's like using this in the real world and how sensitive it is and if that will be a problem or not.
Rain in California? Hallelujah. Haven't you guys been in drought for quite a while?Funny enough, it's been raining here in SoCal since the day I bought my NX, the wipers are super sensitive and work great.
Indeed.Rain in California? Hallelujah. Haven't you guys been in drought for quite a while?
That is a pretty cool feature. I can't wait to try it out, oh wait....I hate it when it rains, just means the car gets dirty in the rear and I have to wash it! LOLIndeed.
The wipers are pretty smart and adjust automatically (e.g. full speed in a downpour, then off under and underpass, then back on).
I just take it to my detailer and smoke one while my car is getting cleanedThat is a pretty cool feature. I can't wait to try it out, oh wait....I hate it when it rains, just means the car gets dirty in the rear and I have to wash it! LOL
