I heard that the engine noise was just amplified from the engine bay. Is it pre-recorded? That changes my opinion on that feature quite a bit.
I don't know how they did it, but it's fake engine sound (pre-recorded), not coming from the engine bay. I love when they say "Faux", which means fake in french, so that it sounds more sophisticated, I guess people would hate it if they called it Fake. That thing belongs on a hybrid.I heard that the engine noise was just amplified from the engine bay. Is it pre-recorded? That changes my opinion on that feature quite a bit.
Belongs on NO car!I don't know how they did it, but it's fake engine sound (pre-recorded), not coming from the engine bay. To be fair, I'm not sure the faux is best translated to fake. I think it is better thought of as imitation. Still, engine noises that aren't real just seem wrong to me. Let the car sound how it sounds, don't try to make it something its not.I don't know how they did it, but it's fake engine sound (pre-recorded), not coming from the engine bay. I wonder if the F-sport adds any wind resistance or weight to the NX vs. the regular model. My guess is probably not significant.Hybrid with F-Sport would be awesome, but the problem with that is with the NX they don't seem to want performance from a hybrid powerplant, instead they want to fight the MPG war, so adding performance to a hybrid may not be the route they want to go with the NXh
