Hello there,

Greetings from Singapore. I am new to the forum and it looks like its bustling with activity in here. Very informative threads to be found in here. Just want to share with everyone in here on the launch of the Lexus NX Hybrid in Singapore. We launch the car at an all new Karting Race track where the NX was put to the test. The chief engineer of the NX - Takeaki Kato was also present at our launch to grace the event. I shall let the photos do the talking.
:)

Another reason to hate CAFE standards, way to kill how it looks. But at least if you're someone who goes the extra step with you vehicle and get modification done to it and personalize it, this is an area you can likely improve once aftermarket aero support picks up

Thanks for the kind compliments. Yes the version we get differs from the N. American ones. The front bumper for both the regular NX and the F SPORT are the same with the only differences being the front grille. Apparently, the front grilles are a direct swap to fit in the F SPORT grille.

Pretty sure that the change was made so that the NX would be classified differently and therefore has to meet a different set of standards. It looks much better on the version the rest of the world will be getting. Most Americans don't pay attention to the rest of the world though so they won't know the difference.

Thank you all for the very kind compliments and encouragement. This is Singapore's latest Go-Kart circuit with the owner of the circuit having done the night lighting for the annual Singapore formula one night race. He wanted to replicate the same feeling on his own kart circuit with the Marina Bay Night Formula One race with proper paddock and VIP grandstand air conditioned suites.

FYI, this Go-Kart track was designed by Herman Tilke, the same designer for most of the formula one circuits worldwide(Shanghai, bahrian, Sepang...etc.)

It was just launched officially a few days ago.
