I have a 2015 Lexus NX300h with the wireless phone charging station. I've been told that my iPhone 6 needs a special case in order for it to charge. Have any of you bought such a case? If so, do you mind sharing with me what kind of a case you got and where you purchased it and whether or not it has been satisfactory? Thanks. Sheryl

I have an iPhone 5 that works on the wireless charger of my NX200t. That's with a $20 adapter case I bought from Amazon.ca. It fits perfectly and the name is CHOETECH. It is made in China.

Why not just plug in your phone with the USB charger? If it could charge without cord and without buying a case I'd do it, but I don't really feel like buying something extra when I already have a cord to use. That's just my opinion though.

Yes, that is an option but I have it in my vehicle and kind of want to use it. I may not always have a cord with me to plug it into my USB port. Thanks!

You might want to check Amazon or even eBay since if ones available, chances are that's one of the places it will be on.

Fair enough. I would just keep a cord in the car at all times.

I will say that the cords, if you buy them separate from your phone, can be very expensive. Just as expensive or more expensive than the special case you have to buy to use the charging station.

That's always a good idea. I think sometimes we over complicate things, sticking to the basics or at least having it as a back up is something you really can't go wrong with.

Plus cords are cheap enough to get and keep around.

I guess the intention here is to use the technology provided by the car. So you have these options:
-Buy a new fone that can be charged wirelessly
-Buy an extra lightning cable for your iPhone as I believe you don't want to bring (at all times) the cable provided when you bought your unit
-Or buy the wireless charging case for your existing unit.

Again, life gives us so many options to choose from.
