Those luxury brands are a joke.
I was told the same 52k story by my Boston area dealer. They clarified that they were being sent this configuration initially until the demand is better understood (sounds like a lame explanation). They also said they can order any specific configuration the customer desires for the 300h but could not say how long it will take to get the order filled. My guess is several months. I have cooled a bit on NX based on this revelation.I've just heard from my dealer that the NX300h will only be offered fully loaded , we're talking essentially a $52K base price then...
Yea mine wasn't able to offer a specific date when we could begin ordering below top spec. Agree it is disappointing, I think this is the result of a lone manufacturing facility, supply needs to be diced to satisfy global demand... C'est la guerre...I was told the same 52k story by my Boston area dealer. I went to see the new Honda CR-V. Fully loaded touring package with a few nice improvements for 2015 has
More room, most of the features of the NX, almost the same mileage (better hwy mileage) and not a hybrid.
Although certainly not a luxury vehicle, you get all this for an MSRP of 33K.
the hybrid was never entry level. affordable and entry level should never be synonymous with luxury. I'm sorry, Toyota makes corollas as well...So is it always being only offered fully loaded or is this just a temporary thing when it first hits the market? Doesn't seem very affordable for something that is supposed to be entry level.
But think about the reliability!$52k?! ****! 200t then! No way i am spending $52k on an "entry" level luxury SUV!
Just $5k more, you can get the Acura MDX Advance package with RT-4wd.
That is the price for the hybrid. The turbo seems to make more sense for me now.But think about the reliability!
Just kidding.
Paying that much is just crazy but the way i guess they see it is that being turbocharged... makes it premium or at least in some way that helps to project that image....still, too much for me too.
Agreed 100%. 200t F-sport for me.That is the price for the hybrid. The turbo seems to make more sense for me now.
ES300h FULLY LOADED is $49k. ES350 base is $37k.But the 300h is not ENTRY LEVEL. The 300h is already a premium OVER the 200t and fully loaded means FULLY LOADED...
I'm not saying its a proper strategy but I'm saying we need to stop being offended because "entry level" when we're not speaking about anything remotely entry level...
