NX200t ECU tuning

With the turbo and intercooler setup, the NX200t features a capable motor. Given that it's a Lexus, I presume the engine was designed and manufactured in such a way that most of the internals are strong -- stronger than needed to ensure Toyota/Lexus long-term durability.

I'm betting there is some significant power that can be unlocked with a relatively conservative ECU tune. Anyone know of any tuners that are working on Lexus NX tuning?

At least 30hp and 50lb-ft of additional torque should be realized with an ECU tune.

They got it done on the 2007-2012 Acura RDX 4 cyl turbo (hondata), hopefully it will be done on this engine too.

I did not follow the RDX. How much power were the tuners able to yield?

Go to their website and check it out, Hondata.com

They've said that the 2.0 was designed for multiple states of tune in the context of using it in different models but it extends here as well..

The 2.0-litre turbo] engine looks set to provide sparkling performance in the NX 200t, but an even more potent version has not been ruled out by Mr Kato – an amateur motor racer in his spare time.

He told GoAuto the four-cylinder engine had been designed for a variety of performance tunes in various applications across the Lexus range.
Will be curious about this as well. seems the VVT system is simply an electronic map and not mechanical variations like ala VTEC...
