I was invited to a launch party for the NX tomorrow night. Really looking forward to seeing it. Well just my luck..... I just received a call from the dealership postponing the event. No new date.

just email your local dealer and they'll put you on the list. I believe its just a pre-existing mailing list. For example I emailed my local yesterday to ask when they were having theirs (tonight, I can't make it) and they offered to put me on the guest list, just for askingToo bad, I think it would have been fun. What exactly goes on at these events? Do you just get to look at the vehicle, or is there something more than that?
Where is your launch party?
i've been to many and they just have a meet and greet, apps & drinks good music, some have bands that show up. Information sessions and presentations about the vehicle. The unveil, more info, and some other stuff related to the vehicle. and of course dinner.What exactly goes on at these events? Price, price, price. Lexus should release it already!
They should, fortunately we're coming to the end of the year here, and the last quarter for the industry is when a lot happens, so hopefully soon they do release price along with all the other details we wantedPrice, price, price. Lexus should release it already!
I hear you! We know what it looks like, we know what we want, We can pre-order from the dealer....but, still no price!!! Only reason I looked at the Merc was because I am getting anxious already! its just odd that we're THIS close to NX launching in the US and we're still without the most integral piece of information....

Not sure what they're waiting on, maybe some upcoming show, but like many here I did expect to hear pricing much earlier.
There were launch events in Toronto. I didn't attend but I heard of them. Apparently across the street there was a Mercedes dealership so the pictures from the event all had big Mercedes logos in the background.

There was a mercedes dealer across the street from the Lexus dealer the event was at, reason for the Mercedes logo in the background. Too bad the guys at the Lexus dealer didn't notice or didn't care, if they did in fact noticed, they should have at least closed the curtains.There were launch events in Toronto.
