She drove a 2000 S-Type 4.0. Great car for the first 75,000 miles.


Then we got to know a 3rd party mechanic very well for the next 8 years. He is going to miss us.

I bought a 2015 Highlander XLE last year and love it.

Ahh, as sweet as it is to develop new relationships, That doesn't seem like the first choice of someone to develop a bond with

Great choice, heard a lot of good things about the highlander.
Hoping to own a Lexus LX a couple years from now, the NX is for the missus.

Will look good in the garage... his and her's Lexus'

A his and hers NX sounds great ! Matching colours as well, or contrasting like white and black ?

Never was a fan of the idea of having two of the same vehicles, just about everyone out there can use the variety that comes with owning two different vehicles.

Although both are SUV's, one is just about as capable as they get, the NX, not so much.

Ahhh that does sound a lot more appealing. A more versatile combination, suiting each others needs. I like the sound of that Soon to add a LC when it comes out for the cruises ?

That is true. The LC is really a dream for me at this moment, but boy would I love one !

For a vehicle that starts around $100k, it's not too far out of the reach of some people on this forum. But at the same time someone who really wants something like it can get a used S-Class coupe

True.. those are still quite pricey though :|
