Hello!

Looking to purchase my first ever lexus suv in the near future!

Any current lexus suv drivers? How do you like the ride?

This is my first Lexus too! I own the 200T F Sport All wheel drive with the Red Seats. I love it. Love driving this 4 cylinder with V6 feel in pulling power. We traded a 2013 Ford Limited Edge with 20K miles on the it. The Ford was nice but it never as tight as the NX. The NX feels way more solid than our 2013 Ford Edge limited. The NX little 4 cylinder seems way more responsive that the Ford's V6. I don't know of the highway yet will be taking out on road this summer so well see if it maintains 80 mph on our desert hills on I-15. The plus to me is the gas savings on the NX around town. I have less than a 1000 miles on it and i'm getting over 20.7 mpg. The Ford never got above 15 mph in town. Oh the other thing I noticed is the A/C on the NX. Not only works very well but turning it on has no sound or feel against the engine. The Ford A/C was like hooking up a 16 foot trailer when it was cycling on and off. Passenger seating has no complaints yet. Seems ample passenger room. Compared to the Ford in the cockpit in the NX everything is visible and reachable with out stretching. The Ford I would find my self leaning over in my seat to make radio or other adjustments to see what button I was pushing. The NX most controls are at a little below eye level and not below as in the Ford.

From a past 2013 Ford Edge Limited I very pleased so far with my NX with about 900 miles on the counter. I can't wait for the 1000 mile mark so I can put my foot in it..... ENJOY ; )

Thanks dvdmull for the thorough comparison of your cars!

I appreciate the insight on the cars which would help me make a better decision to get.

It's nice to hear about other vehicles and experiences in different ones.

LOL about the A/C in the ford... I could only imagine what that must sound like. Glad the NX is quiet haha

Good to hear that you're enjoying the NX! Would you trade it for anything else? or you're completely satisfied with it? :D
Welcome to the forum.

What vehicles have you owned in the past? Any SUV's?

Thank you @David!

I've owned the LEXUS IS300 and IS250. So I'm thinking about moving onto a SUV for the first time :)

How about you?
Also used to own an IS300 and that thing was awesome, those inline-6 2JZ engines are amazing. Wanted to modify it and drop in the 2JZGTE from a Supra but decided I don't want to put up with all of that, rather just buy a fast car from the factory and something practical which the NX is.
