Good job Lexus. The brand sold 29,816 vehicles in July which makes it the best selling luxury brand in the US for the month. Strong sales were built on great offers, like a $329/month lease on the $38,000 ES sedan, and 4,337 deliveries of the Lexus NX.

That puts Lexus ahead of its German counterparts which is a great achievement for Lexus who are seeking to relive the brand's glory days of the '90s when the brand dominated the luxury car market in the US.

Not surprised at all to see the brands listed here and how they ranked, if you look a the top 3 all you will see are strong volume products, especially at this point for Lexus with the RC, IS and NX out.

I think that if Lexus can compete with BMW on performance a bit better, then they will lock this up. They already are doing great with design and quality.
Lexus has a way to go but they've only been involved in the performance side of things for only so long. I'd keep waiting to see what more they have planned for. Apparently the Lexus RC might get a trim more potent than the RC-F.

A more exciting Lexus RC could really invigorate the brand from a performance standpoint. I want to see them go all out on one of their vehicles.
