Lexus UK to offer full free hybrid health check
Lecus offers 6 hybrid luxury vehicles to consumers. Soon one more will be added, the Lexus NX300h.
Lexus believes wholeheartedly in their hybrid powertrain, and that's why they are offering customers a free hybrid powertrain check in the UK. It is offered free of charge when you go for the regular maintenance, but can also be had as a standalone service for £59.
The technicians will check the condition of the 400V "traction" battery, which is separated from the 12V starter one. They will also check the fuel consumption to ensure that the gasoline engine and the electric motor are working together correctly, and the hybrid cooling systems to ensure that the system is working at the temperature it was designed to.
