Vice President of Lexus Europe Alain Uyttenhoven recently discussed the companies expectations of the Lexus NX. Lexus is currently in the pre-launch phase for the Lexus NX in the fourth quarter of 2014, adding that the car maker is on track to surpass its target sales of 50,000 Lexus in 2014 in Europe.

He continued to say that the Lexus NX should account for around one third of Lexus deliveries in its first full year of sales. That just proves that Lexus believes the NX will be a big volume seller. Do you think it can really get to one third of total sales though?

It's believable this is likely one of their best mainstream vehicles yet add that with the amount of markets they're in and will be selling this and it makes sense.

What region do you think the Lexus NX will sell best in? I can see it doing well in Europe since they like small cars, but Americans seem to be totally into the CUV thing right now. Maybe just global sales domination, who knows?

I think a third of total sales is a lofty goal, but if you don't aim for the stars, how are you ever going to hit them?

I think the NX can sell very well all across north america to be honest, it's just like how the rest of america accepts other CUV's, the same should happen for the NX.
