Thank you for listing the prices. I briefly explored the site and will give it a more detailed look tomorrow. Noticed a link to download a brochure.
Looks good, I'm thinking about the 200t AWD (not F sport) to have a more subdued front end, only thing I would like are the paddle shifters, I wonder if the trans stick is too far forward to make it comfortable to use in manual mode, would need to test drive it. Nav package seems to be a good options, total OTD should be 40K or so. no 360 cameras, sucks, the 2015 Kia minivan has 360 cameras, just saying, I bet it will be there in 2016.

Kia is not Lexus...NX is not a minivan...just saying....

I think that a better comparo would be to other vehicles in its class...does Acura RDX have 360 camera? Does Mercedes GLA or GLK have it? Does Porsche Macan have it around $40k? Does Infinity E35 have it? Does BMW X-whatever have it around $40k?

My Sienna minivan can seat 7 people with power sliding doors...I bet it will be there in 2016. :D
I agree
i wouldn't compare kia to lexus, hyundai has a better chance of that but still, i wouldn't go that route.

Exactly! a dam Kia, and a MINVAN, has a 360 system, Lexus and other "luxury" brands don't, SERIOUSLY! it's not like I'm asking Lexus to invent it, they already have it, and it comes as an option in the rest of the world, but of course not in NA, WTF! they probably think it's not needed here because the parking spaces are big compared to Europe and Asia, either that or they want to keep the MSRP low because they think we're all cheap asses, If I wanted cheap I wouldn't look at Lexus.
Joe, you complained about NX being too expensive not too long ago!
You'd think they would at least offer it as an option though. Rear view cameras are supposed to be standard on all cars soon. It should have happened already but they are delaying the legislation's implementation. Anyways, in the near future all cars will have this in the US.

Joe is talking about multi-cameras around the car to give 360 degree view, which helps in parallel parking etc..

NX has rear-view camera STANDARD...from LEXUS website:

When you place the NX into reverse, the view from the backup camera* is displayed on the multimedia display in full color with dynamic gridlines to assist you with parking and other maneuvers.

STANDARD ON: NX 300h, NX 200T, NX 200T F SPORT

----------------------------------------------------------------------

So, is Lexus NX offering the bare minimum? Sure, but so does every other luxury brand in its class. You cannot compare what Kia has to what Lexus has. Does Kia have Lexus noise insulation? No. I am sure that there a few things good about NX that the Kia minivan lacks. It's a trade-off based on price and class of vehicle.

Should BMW have HomeLink standard just because the Kia has it? No.

360 degree view is what they should implement, i think it's something that should be as easy as something they can add into the software and nothing that involves hardware.... i hope.

You need additional cameras, usually at bottom of side mirrors.
Infinti is able to do it on their vehicles...

True...but have you driven one? POS. Within a price range, there are compromises.
Lexus already has front and side view monitoring on their GX and LX lines. Other countries are getting a panoramic view system for the NX. My opinion is that this will be available for the NX in the US in a couple of years, but after it is available on the RX.
My saleman gave me a print out of the window sticker of the first F Sport that will be arriving at their dealership in about 2 or 3 weeks. It had all the contents of the packages and options that they original told me that the Regional vehicles would have and it had an addition accessory option of $264 that includes a Trunk Mat, Cargo Mat, Wheel Locks and Key Gloves.

I preferred White/Rioja Red or Black/Rioja Red but the first F Sport that they are getting is Atomic Silver/Rioja Red. I was told it's mine when it comes in or if I decide that I don't like the color I'll have to wait to see if either of my color combinations becomes available which could take a few weeks longer when the next round of Regional vehicles arrive at the ports.

2wd or AWD? How much MSRP?

That's right.

I see it being something part of a midcycle refresh or next gen model

Delivery and handing charges aren't too bad at all, but i also wonder how much that might vary from dealer to dealer.
