Which Lexus NX are you going to buy?

Lexus NX Hybrid vs Lexus NX Turbo

Which one are you getting any why?

One is the 2.5L 4 cylinder matched with a hybrid motor - probably similar in design to the other Toyota and Lexus hybrids.

The other is a 2.0L 4 cylinder Turbocharged engine. No electric motors here.

Patents filed by Toyota suggest NX200T and NX300H as the names but these could be concept names.

I'm coming from cars with older Lexus/Toyota V8's like the Lexus LX and LS430, so when it comes to the NX, i'm winning by far even if it's not a hybrid.

2.0L 4 cylinder turbo all the way.
I think I am going to go with the turbo engine. I don't expect it to be terrible on fuel anyway so spending the extra cash on the hybrid NX just seems like a waste to me.
most hybrids are a waste but they do help if you have to be in a lot of stop and go traffic as the regenerative braking and suspension work while the gasoline engine is off.

I just figure that I will wait until electric cars are more mainstream. until then I am just going to stick to gas power and look for cars that are more efficient. Some of the turbo engines out there are getting better fuel economy than hybrid set-ups. I am just not willing to spend the extra money on something that I am not totally convinced is up to snuff yet.

Do we know what the mpg is going to be on the NX yet?
thats the best thing to do.
EV tech is in it's early stages which isn't that great. always best to wait if value for your money is top priority
I do want to know how much HP the turbo model will make. I wonder if it'll make as much power as the Lexus V6.

It can even make more, a lot depending on how they tune it, what tech they use, etc, so much to list.
Turbo for me, unless the 0-60 is very similar for both the T and H, we'll see. F package is a must for me though, just for the paddle shifters alone.
