Is there a point to this? Probably not. But it is getting the NX some coverage.
The stunt is really more of a work of sculpture than anything else. Each wheel took four ice sculptors from London's Hamilton Ice Sculptors 36 hours to complete. The entire vehicle was "deep-frozen" for five days in -22 Fahrenheit temperatures before being driven down a street. The wheels were reinforced internally with acrylic spokes and fitted with LED lights for an extra blast of pizazz.
Not sure what to say about this... Climate change wouldn't be friendly to it, that's for sure.
