Inaccurate fuel gauge

My 2020 NX 300 fuel gauge will show below empty but tank will only hold 13 gallons. Also when the warning light comes on the tank only takes 10 gallons. The tank is sized at 15.9 gallons. Does anyone know how to make the gauge and warning light more accurate?
