F-Sport Seats, comfort etc.

My wife and I test drove a IS F-Sport this weekend to see how the seats felt if we were to get the NX F-Sport. We drove it around the block and we both noticed that our thighs were uncomfortable in the bolstered seats. We drove a regular IS and those seats were fine. The NX will be a daily driver for my wife and she is usually driving in traffic for about 45 min in the morning and 1-1.5 hours in the afternoon. I like the look of the F-Sport better then the standard NX, but am afraid the seats will be similar to the IS and uncomfortable for the daily drive. It also doesn't have the vented seats, which we liked. What are your thoughts on the comfort of seats? We already ordered the standard NX200t with premium package, but would like to know from people with real world experience. I am 195lb, 5'7" and my wife is 150lb, 5'2".

So does that mean that you are going to go with the regular NX model instead of the F Sport model? Is it just the shape of the seat that is uncomfortable? Digging into your thighs, or something else?

Can't wait to take the NX out for a test drive. Until then I will be happy to read about other peoples' experiences. Thanks for posting this up!
Thats why I've always been a huge fan of thigh support/thigh extenders, especially in sportier seats where you're not cushioned...

Did you guys have a chance to play with an RX F-Sport, that may be more indicative of the NX than the IS?
Yeah, we just ordered the regular 200t. We didn't get a chance to test out the RX, but may try it out the next time we are near the dealer. Everywhere I have been reading that the seats in the NX will be comparable to the IS, so that is why we tried that one. I am not really a fan of the machined look rims also, but the summer tire option is not available for our regional builds.....

what did you invoice come to if you dont mind sharing?
Did you find the seats particularly uncomfortable or is it more because you just generally find racing seats uncomfortable. Was it worse than the average racing seat you've sat in>?

The Lexus NX F-Sport does not come with racing seats lol

Yeah, but the F-sport seats are more aggressively bolstered and padded i think.
Okay not racing seats, but the seats are different, no?

My dealer still tells me they haven't got the official price release yet, as of the day we ordered it, but I calculated the pricing I got from another lexus forum and with all the packages and options, came out to $42575.00+925.00 destination. That doesn't include all the taxes and licenses fees they add on. No discount, since it is a new model. But no additional dealer markup either. The Acura dealer here likes to add in a couple thousand for market adjustment, or whatever BS they mean....
More padding?

Aside from the bolsters, is the back part of the seat more padded? Is it easier to sit up straight, rather than sinking in, like in the regular NX?
