Not that you ever had a doubt, but the 2015 Lexus NX is a very safe vehicle. The Lexus NX received a 5 star safety rating from the Euro NCAP.

The NX features eight airbags, a strong passenger safety cell, whiplash injury lessening seats, stability control, ABS and a pre-crash safety system (which you can see in action in one of the videos below.) The NX also has many optional safety features, like lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, auto high beams and rear cross traffic alert.

The pre-crash system is proven to work at speeds between 30 and 70 km/h. That means it stops the car before hitting the car in front of it.

The only problem the NX encountered was the side pole crash. "the side airbag has a small latency to inflate due to the algorithms controlling the lateral acceleration sensors."

Good info! Thanks for posting!
Lexus always makes safe vehicles, so I wasn't really worried anyway.

The big test will be the small-offset crash that IIHS does...that will be interesting to see.

RAV4 failed miserably with IIHS small-offset crash: http://www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/vehicle/v/toyota/rav4
they sure do
they have some of the safest vehicles you can buy for the segments their vehicles are in.
NX Euro NCAP 5 Stars

Get out there and put em in the wall ;)
