Only thing about comparing the NX to a BMW equivalent is how many people into what the Germans have to offer will consider the NX?

People still seem to hold BMW, Merc and Audi to a much higher standard.

Always. The BMW, Benz, and Audi have a much higher maintenance and repair cost. Theoretically you need to have a higher income to own those vehicles thus people holding them to "higher" more upper class standards

Lexus however have a quiet plan... and its seriously working, if they keep this up they will rise massively - lets just hope not too fast so they make a IS 1 IS 2 IS 3 NX 4 NX 5 NX 7 NX 8 RX 2 RX 9 RX 4

Well - not for long mate... I was so **** impressed. Words fail me. Had it not been for the **** nav... ( subjective ) I would buy one myself. I have had 19 BMWs.

The LC coupe was a good example of what they can do when aiming for a flagship product and they have another one in the pipeline, the LS which we should hopefully see at the Paris show.

Then they have models like the LX and GX that need refreshing and once that happens things will really ramp up since those same 2 models have been around for way too long, probably nearing the 10 year mark.

I think if the Amazon show does the new performance lexus ... the whole game will take a change.

All the manufacturers - well mostly are all fighting for a share of the 3 german markets now.

So i've been taking some time to look more into the competition and Mercedes has a lot going on now, enough that it will take a lot to take someone away from MB and come over here to the NX or some other Lexus, even i'm having a hard time with that.

Agreed, but they always have had.

My issue with MB is UK relation ship between head office and the brand... the brand let the dealers do what they like...

This means they do NOT really police customer service that well -

Down where I am in Canada, MB's customer relations and services are pretty darn spot on. Love going to that place even if it's just to hang out and do nothing lol
