So my dealer(and all Lexus dealers) gives one year free maintenance with over $1000 discount if I buy the 5 year plan. It was $2100 for a total of six years free maintenance with 5k miles every maintenance schedule. I opted to buy this because they gave me a lifetime power train warranty with 0 deductible as long as the required maintenance are performed. I know not all dealers give that warranty but it's really good if you're planning to keep the car for a long time...which I am...
Note: maintenance plans might differ from dealer to dealer and if it was leased or bought

If you drive your vehicle a lot a maintenance plan can be a very good deal as long as they do not put a cap on mileage. I have one on my Harley that I ride about 25000 miles a year. If they have a mileage cap all you are doing is prepaying.

Yes I don't have a mileage cap that's why I think it was an awesome deal. Even if I had a cap the Lexus is a secondary car to my Prius and motorcycle on the summer

Lexus offers pretty good warranty and maintenance already. The dealer one sounds good, I just wonder if you need much on top of what Lexus gives you out the gate.
