Automotive Addicts published a review on the 2016 Lexus NX 300h Hybrid after taking it for a spin and the overall impressions is positive.
They averaged around 32 mpg with mixed driving, equal parts highway and city. The NX 300h Hybrid was
estimated to run 35 mpg city and 31 mpg highway but the
reviewer managed to beat that with a maximum city mileage of 36 mpg.
Interior wasn't lacking either with
plenty of room in the rear passenger seats and quite a few creature comforts coming standard.
As for how it drives, the Lexus NX
transitions seamlessly between electric and gas but one area that he was disappointed in was the
slow acceleration from a dead stop, going from 0-60 in around 9 seconds. There was also a
bit of front wheel spin when making a turn from a dead stop but going AWD should fix this handling problem.
