Hello Everyone,

Before I begin, HOW MANY QUARTS for an oil change? I want to do an oil change(better safe than sorry) because the car has gone its first thousand mile or so. If anyone could assist that would be greatly appreciated!

Well anyone here is my story:

I am technically not the new owner as I have purchased this vehicle for my mother, but I had to definitely share my passion for cars if I was getting a car. I couldn't afford the RX that she wanted (I needed it fully loaded) but once we got to the dealership she loved the NX just as much. Coming from a pretty standard mom minivan, she has yet to even setup Lexus Enform but loving the car very much. I drive a 05' G35 Sedan GTX3582R'd as my daily vehicle but that is pretty much my story. Thank you!

I think I like the Atomic Silver more than my Silver Lining because the Atomic Silver matches the wheels better. I wish I saw the Atomic Silver in the sunlight but it was inside the showroom and doesn't do it justice - the sun really makes the Atomic Silver look beautiful! The Silver Lining looks better at night though. I got the lighter color so it hides the dirt better so I don't have to wash it as much. When I told my salesman this he didn't say anything until I signed the paperwork and took delivery - he then brought me on a tour of the dealership and the first thing he said was how I get free lifetime car washes!

Here's some photos of the car. And mine. And yes the atomic silver in photos does not do it justice. The line work is beautiful. I actually wish I had these seats in my car :(

Downside is if you're picky about the finish of your paint, much like a detailer would, you'll know most of those dealership wash guys don't care much for not scratching the car (unintentionally)
My Salesman told me that they really take their time with every car, but of course he is going to say that. I just wish he was that forthcoming about what a great job they do when I was telling him why I was picking a lighter color than i really preferred!

Regarding car washes at the Lexus dealer....the guys at my dealership generally hand wash the cars because they "expect to sell our cars again after we trade them in."

I also have the Lexus dealer detail the car and make the necessary interior fixes to scratches or blemishes while the car is in for its regular servicing....
