Welcome to the forum. Upgrading the tires is a very good choice. The stock ones are loud and do not provide the best ride and handling.

19" rims are the perfect size for this cuv. I am using Pirelli all season verde plus right now never used them before let's see how they hold up.

My most recent dealer (not Lexus) would not do a tire swap with me when I asked for a different tire brand.

Were you able to work a deal with your Lexus dealer? Did a tire dealer give you a good trade-in? Or did you just buy a few thousand dollars wheels worth of wheels and tires?

I too will go to 19" -- I'm just not sure the best way to go about it....$$$

Lol I went to local dealership and bought a separate wheels and tire set. Those wheels and Pirelli tires costed me $3900

Yikes! I was afraid of that.

I have to admit that I love the look, but when I priced the Michelins and wheels I wanted.....I just couldn't justify (or explain) canceling Christmas for my family this year so I could get rid of perfectly good tires and wheels for new ones....

After having 19s on both of my BMWs and having to buy winter tires as well as summer tires I decided to stay with the 18s that came with the NX. I will upgrade the tires when these need to be replaced but will not go with a larger rim.

You won't go larger because of the cost, or are there other reasons?

I have 19s on my Q3 and I love the ride and the drive. Some (the sales guy) have said the 19s are louder than the stock 18s, but (maybe because of my hearing loss) I'm not detecting the difference.

In Colorado we can find winter driving conditions most months of the year when driving in the mountains. I found the stock performance tires on both the X3 and the X1 to not have very much traction on ice and snow. The tires that re available for both vehicles were very limited. On the X3 I had 3 or 4 choices and only 1 choice on the X1. Both the X1 and the X3 had great traction on dry roads with the X1 having the edge, faster acting traction control.
When I bought the NX 19s were not available at that time and I still have not seen a F-Sport with 19s. Unless something changes I will stick with the 18s.

Nice looking NX. I've seen a lot of Range Rover Evoque's that came from the factory with the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season tires.

How's the ride with the 19" wheels?
