Welcome to the forum!

Noticed some other members here from Italy but not enough!

Have NX's been having a noticeable appearance in Italy from what you've noticed?

While living in Florence one year we lost both outside mirrors to passing trucks and more than once we were forced to climb through the window to get in or out of the car because the cars was packed so closely in the car park......I suggest you invest in a protective film such as XPEL Ultimate to help protect the finish of your beautiful new car.

What color is it? Red? Post a picture!!

Welcome to the forum! Are parking spaces really that small? You may need a convertible for your secondary car so you can get out like this:

OK
You want it, you got it.

Here's my NX parked in Florence.

Side mirrors still in place.

Here in Italy Lexus sells only hybrid models, no gasoline.
Selling rate YTD is 100% up thanks to NX model.

NX is the third best selling hybrid model after Yaris and Auris.

Not bad parking, hopefully you don't curb your wheels!

I noticed a lot of folks that park like that end up curbing their wheels. Might take a lot of practice but **** I hate the though of curbing happening.

That parking spot sin't as bad as I thought it would be and your NX looks awesome.
I have a fear of curbing too so I stick those circle mirrors onto my side mirrors for a wider angle view.

Some people can even get into really tight spots, just depends on how good of a driver you are and how well you use your mirror and any other aids for moving your vehicle around.

I'm sure that you already know it..., anyway NX when in rear, adjusts side mirrors the way you want to, then, when in drive, mirrors return to the right position.

see annex

P.S. this feature is just for Luxury models or those models having driver seat memory.

My wife and I always look back on our year in Florence with fondness and great memories of all the people we met there....despite losing both outside mirrors to passing trucks.....

But in those days, back in the 80's, we did not have mirrors that folded in, let alone dip down for better vision when backing up. The mirrors on my 10-year old Lexus dip, but they must be folded in manually....wish I had both options when in Italy.

Question for suxelxn.....does your NX seem kind of large compared to most of the cars on the streets of Florence in particular, but Italy in general? It is my recollection the majority of cars there are quite small in comparison. Has that changed?
