Yes, I am planning to visit the dealership next week. Hopefully they can find the solution.

Lexus will probably say, "we do not see any manufacturer's defect with the sub. Don't turn up the volume excessively to eliminate rattle."

Yes, you are probably right !! But it is unacceptable for a $50 000 car. I have lots of patience when dealing with that kind of issues so I am going to squeeze it really good.

Let us know how it turns out. I am with you. A car costing as much as it is, should not have any annoying rattles especially if other comparable brands are fine. Hopefully, they'll address it to your satisfaction.

I think that you need to expect a certain level of vibration, especially when you have the volume turned up pretty high. Sound is vibration, so it is just the laws of physics that if you have super loud base, things are going to vibrate. The vibration is the base.

I agree with you but the vibration and rattlening is coming even before the middle of the volume scale (which is 25 from 50 max)
I am listening to pretty clear music from the USB stick (always 320 kbps) and I really want to enjoy the music coming from the "upgraded 10 speakers system"
Meanwhile I am just wondering if other NX owners can share their experience regarding the NX subwoofer.

I don't normally listen beyond the half-way mark of the volume and I haven't noticed any rattle but I will try listening beyond my normal volume and will report here my observation.

What is the bass level position in the sound settings option? If I have it in the middle or below there is no rattling but no bass too!!

Maybe you could post up a video for us to get a better idea. Show us where the volume gauge is in it at the same time.

Okay, today I listened beyond the Volume 25 mark. Yes, there is a rattle that is caused by the vibration of the sub, but it's not the body, it's the rear license plate casing. The rattling is not audible inside, only when you get out and go to the rear of the vehicle.
