I mean the RDX is quite a bit bigger and more powerful than the NX. When you take into account that it doesn't cost that much more than the NX, it could be a really good deal for many people. The RDX is definitely one of Acura's best vehicles.

For me, RDX is off the list until they put rear air vents! For a Prius, it is half tolerable in Texas heat...but for SUV, that is a must for me and kids.

RDX otherwise is a great value. We had TSX once...and we loved Acura service...very honest, at least the one by our house.

I hope that Acura updates the RDX next year like they did with the ILX...........and add those darn rear air vents!

The other (minor) problems with RDX: torque steer (since front diff is not pre-loaded like NX) and bland styling IMO. It really does not stand out. It does come with a nice audio system (ELS) as option.

The biggest problem for RDX is that the newly updated 2015 Honda CRV is actually a BETTER SUV than RDX...better styling (IMO), radar cruise as option, REAR SEAT VENTS, better safety (since structure has been redesigned for small offset crash), and cheaper. Also CRV has memory seat too (at top end)...yes, CRV comes with only a 4-banger...but it is Honda's newest 4-banger.

RDX is on my list as #1 , great V6, real fast off the line, and with the tech package that adds everything, it's only 40k fully loaded with awd. NX is nice, but front end is a turn off, I don't want people to turn their heads and laugh, and cargo capacities suck, plus fully loaded might be 45k or something. I'm waiting for the 2016 RDX refresh and save money until then, we'll see. NX is on my list, would have to see it in person and test drive it.

But no 360 camera?! I don't think any Acura has 360 camera, as seen on Kia minivan! Have you complained about that on Acura forums?

Fyi

That split photo is an Acura MDX not a RDX; just to let you know. I'm 100% sure.

A 360 camera is not a deal breaker for me, but I do agree that this should be included on Acura vehicles given that they try to base their brand on all the newest technology.

You're right.

For comparison, here's the 2014 RDX Front End:
